About the MTCP Scholarship
The MTCP Scholarship is designed to help international students gain advanced education, knowledge, and professional skills in Malaysia while contributing to the development of their home countries.
The scholarship supports full-time Master’s degree programmes at Malaysian universities for the academic year 2026/2027.
Duration of the scholarship:
- 24 to 36 months
- Coursework, Mixed Mode, and Research programmes are accepted
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive a fully funded scholarship package including:
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly living allowance
- One-time economy class flight ticket to Malaysia
- Return flight ticket after completion of studies
Tuition fees are paid directly to the university, while the monthly allowance is transferred directly to the student’s Malaysian bank account.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be not more than 45 years old at the time of application
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or Second Class Upper (Honours)
- Demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL, or proof that previous studies were conducted in English
- Be in excellent health certified by a doctor
