Students whose academic programs are taught in Chinese may receive Chinese language training before starting their major studies. Programs taught in English generally do not require Chinese language training.

Eligibility Criteria

- Be a non-Chinese citizen.
- Be in good physical and mental health.
Undergraduate Applicants
- Hold a Senior High School Certificate.
- Demonstrate good academic performance.
- Be under 25 years old.
Master’s Applicants
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Be under 35 years old.
PhD Applicants
- Hold a Master’s Degree.
- Be under 40 years old.
General Scholar Applicants
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or have completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
- Be under 45 years old.
Chinese Language Applicants
- Hold a Senior High School Certificate.
- Be under 35 years old.
Senior Scholar Applicants
- Hold a Master’s Degree or higher, or be an Associate Professor or above.
- Be under 50 years old.
